Overview

Leslie Hung is a partner in the Investment Funds Practice Group in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Leslie focuses her practice on the formation, structuring, offering and operation of private investment funds, including buyout, credit, GP stakes, growth, real estate and industry and region-specific investment vehicles, as well as regulatory and compliance issues. Leslie also represents institutional clients in connection with co-investment arrangements, secondary transactions, strategic investments, “upper-tier” governance and internal restructurings and other strategic and operational matters.

Prior to joining Kirkland, Leslie's clients included a number of major financial institutions, including Apollo, Bain Capital, Dyal Capital Partners, Goldman Sachs, HPS, Neuberger Berman and StepStone. 

In addition to her experience in investment funds, Leslie also has experience in a variety of other securities law and corporate transactional matters, including mergers & acquisitions, capital markets, venture capital and corporate governance and commercial matters.
