Maggie King is an associate in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Her practice focuses primarily on the technology and intellectual property aspects of complex business transactions. She has represented public and private companies and private equity funds across a range of industries, including technology, artificial intelligence, healthcare, energy, manufacturing, software, telecommunications and financial technology, specifically cryptocurrency.

Prior to joining Kirkland, Maggie worked as a data scientist specializing in applied analytics and machine learning, for a variety of software companies, including big tech firms and predictive analytics startups and served as a director for The University of Chicago’s Computational Analysis and Public Policy program.
