Woman Lawyer of the Year 2024

The Women’s Bar Association (WBA) of the District of Columbia recognized Kirkland & Ellis Of Counsel Ellen Jakovic as its 2024 “Woman Lawyer of the Year.” Ellen was lauded by the WBA as a “well-respected leader and inspirational mentor” who, during her career, “has exhibited a tireless commitment to advancing women lawyers in the profession and to improving access to justice for those who cannot afford legal assistance.”

The Woman Lawyer of the Year Award recognizes a leader who has championed change in the profession by leading by example, advocating for justice and promoting the advancement of women in the profession.
