Kirkland Advises TA/HGGC-Backed Idera, Inc. in Recapitalization
Kirkland & Ellis advised Idera, Inc., parent company of global B2B software productivity brands, in its agreement to sell a controlling interest to global private markets investment manager Partners Group. Existing sponsors TA and HGGC will continue as significant owners moving forward, along with Idera’s management team. Financial terms were not disclosed.
The Kirkland team was led by transactional partner Adam Phillips and associate Jana Glock, and included transactional partners Marc Browning, Vlad Kroll and Erin Blake, tax partners Devin Heckman and Kevin Coenen, executive compensation partner Rohit Nafday, antitrust partner Michael Thorpe, and debt finance partners Brian Ford and Kathryn Keves Leonard and associates Ashley Kerr, Bridget Hahn and Spencer Welch.
