Kirkland Advises Varsity Healthcare Partners on Closing of Oversubscribed Fund IV at $700 Million

Kirkland & Ellis advised Varsity Healthcare Partners (VHP), a lower middle-market private equity firm focused on healthcare services, on the final closing of Varsity Healthcare Partners IV (VHP IV) with total capital commitments of $700 million. VHP IV had a $600 million target and received commitments in excess of its initial hard cap of $650 million. VHP IV attracted a diverse mix of U.S. and international institutional clients, including insurance companies, pensions, endowments, foundations and sovereign wealth funds.
