• In re National Prescription Opiate Litigation: Counsel for Allergan in numerous lawsuits nationwide in federal and state court brought by State AGs, counties and municipalities related to the marketing of opioids.
• In re Local TV Advertising Antitrust Litigation: Counsel for Nexstar Media Group in a putative antitrust class action alleging that certain media companies conspired to fix the prices of local television advertising.
• In re Automotive Parts Antitrust Litigation: Counsel for Tenneco, Inc. in a putative antitrust class action brought by direct and indirect purchasers of exhaust systems alleging violations of the Sherman Act. Resulted in favorable settlement for Tenneco.
• In re Liquid Aluminum Sulfate Antitrust Litigation: Counsel for Geo Specialty Chemicals in a putative antitrust class action brought by purchasers of liquid aluminum sulfate alleging violations of the Sherman Act. Resulted in favorable settlement for Geo.

State Attorney General Investigations and Litigation

• Counsel for various companies in confidential investigations by State Attorneys General related to alleged violations of consumer protection, unfair trade practices statutes, and state antitrust laws.

International Antitrust Investigations

• Counsel for various companies in confidential antitrust investigations conducted by the Department of Justice, the European Commission, the Canadian Competition Bureau, the Competition Commission of South Africa, the Brazilian Administrative Council for Economic Defense (CADE), and the Competition Commission of India.

Rosemoor Hotel SRO Tenants’ Union v. Rosemoor Hotel (Illinois): Counsel for the Rosemoor Tenants’ Union in its lawsuit against the Rosemoor Hotel, a single-room-occupancy building on the Near West Side of Chicago, for retaliatory eviction after the tenants reported illegal construction. Resulted in favorable settlement for the tenants’ union.

Hernandez v. LULAC et al. (Illinois): Counsel for LULAC, a national Hispanic non-profit organization, in civil litigation based in breach of contract and fraud.
