Overview

Kent Hayden is a partner in Kirkland & Ellis’ Chicago office. Kent has broad experience handling complex commercial litigation, insurance litigation, restructuring litigation, and antitrust litigation.

Kent also devotes significant time to pro bono work on behalf of members of his community. Kent tried and won a case on behalf of a local social worker whose landlord had failed to remediate mold and severe water damage in her apartment. Kent also led a successful mediation on behalf of an indigent client who had been terminated after taking disability leave for a job-related injury.

Kent graduated magna cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law, where he served as Chief Executive Editor of the Law Review.
