Overview

Henry Kleeman was a partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, focusing on corporate and securities law. His broad base of experience included counseling companies and boards of directors on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, corporate finance matters, and securities and regulatory compliance.

Henry also had substantial international experience, including acquisitions, divestitures and joint ventures in Europe, Asia, and Latin and South America.

During his almost 30 year career, Henry spent ten years serving as in-house counsel. He was the senior vice president and general counsel of one of the world's largest chemical companies and, prior to that, deputy general counsel and global compliance officer for one of the world's largest consumer goods companies.

Henry served on the Board of Directors of Delta Galil Industries, Ltd. a global manufacturer of private label apparel products (NASDAQ: DELT) from 2000 to 2005.

Henry is a member of the Board of Directors of Millennium Park, Inc. and has served, pro bono, as its general counsel since 1998. Millennium Park is the largest public-private joint venture in the world.

Henry also represents the recently formed Chicago Infrastructure Trust on a pro bono basis. The mission of the Chicago Infrastructure Trust is to facilitate transformative infrastructure projects in Chicago by offering the widest range of financial tools to fund those projects.
