Henry Kleeman was a partner in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP, focusing on corporate and
securities law. His broad base of experience included counseling companies and
boards of directors on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance,
corporate finance matters, and securities and regulatory compliance.
Henry also had substantial international experience, including acquisitions, divestitures and
joint ventures in Europe, Asia, and Latin and South America.
During his almost 30 year career, Henry spent ten years serving as in-house counsel. He was the senior vice president and general counsel of one of the world's largest chemical companies and, prior to that, deputy general counsel and global compliance officer for one of the world's largest consumer goods companies.
