Katie Taylor is a corporate partner in Kirkland's Debt Finance Practice Group in the Bay Area office. Her practice focuses on all aspects of debt financing transactions, including secured and unsecured financings, leveraged buyouts, liability management transactions, restructurings and cross-border financings. Katie represents private equity firms, commercial lending institutions and other private and public companies in connection with the negotiation, structuring and documentation of secured and unsecured financing transactions for both borrowers and lenders, including senior, mezzanine and subordinated debt transactions, acquisition financings, cash flow and asset-based financings, liability management transactions, special situations, dividend recapitalizations and loan workouts and restructurings, including debtor-in-possession and exit financings. Katie has negotiated and closed transactions in a diverse group of industries, including the technology, software, energy, retail, restaurant and healthcare industries.
