His practice focuses primarily on the environmental aspects of complex business transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and venture capital investments. In this context, Toby coordinates environmental due diligence, retains and supervises environmental consultants, counsels clients regarding environmental liability, compliance and risk allocation issues, drafts and negotiates environmental provisions in purchase and sale agreements, credit agreements and real estate leases, and manages the post-closing resolution of identified environmental issues.
