The Facts on Stem Cells

Summary:

Jay Lefkowitz responds to Michael Kinsley’s op-ed on President Bush’s stem cell policy.  Lefkowitz remarks on assertions in that op/ed piece, including the number of available embryonic stem cell lines, the process of creating such a line, and the restrictions of Bush’s policy.  Lefkowitz asserts that stem cell research is troubling to much of the country, and that the decision to compromise is the best long-term solution to this complicated dilemma.
