Kirkland partner Jack S. Levin, P.C., will speak on "Critical Legal and Tax Aspects of the Venture Capital Industry at NASBIC's 35th Annual Venture Capital Institute. The presentation will focus on structuring a start-up transaction as a flow-through entity, growth equity investments in existing companies and structuring buyouts. The current tax ramifications of debt and equity securities as well as how to structure an IPO or sale of a VC-financed company will also be discussed.
