Law Firm of the Year

Kirkland & Ellis was named the first "Law Firm of the Year" in Private Equity Law and Litigation - Patent by U.S. News - Best Lawyers in its 2011 "Best Law Firms" rankings. As an addition to the 2010 inaugural "Best Law Firms" rankings, U.S. News - Best Lawyers honored only one law firm in each of the nationally ranked practice areas. Kirkland received the awards based on client surveys about the Firm's work, the high regard that lawyers from other firms in the same practice areas have for Kirkland and information that the Firm provided to the U.S. News Media Group and Best Lawyers.
