2012 Advocacy Award

During its seventh anniversary benefit in New York, the Transgender Legal Defense & Education Fund (TLDEF) presented Kirkland with its 2012 Advocacy Award for the Firm's pro bono work on TLDEF's Name Change Project. The Name Change Project ensures that transgender individuals can successfully navigate the legal process involved in changing their names in order to move forward with their lives.
