Kirkland & Ellis Represents Bain Capital in Agreement to Acquire Atento from Telefónica SA

Kirkland & Ellis LLP represents Bain Capital Partners LLC in a definitive agreement announced today to acquire Atento, the call-center division of telecommunications company Telefónica SA. The transaction is valued at approximately €1 billion ($1.34 billion). 

The Kirkland team includes London-based corporate partners Sam Pakbaz, Christopher Field and Rory Mullarkey, debt finance partners Neel V. Sachdev and Christopher Shield, tax partners Ian Taplin and Sophie E. Allen, and competition partner Pierre-André Dubois.
