2013 Pro Bono Partner of the Year

Kirkland received the 2013 Pro Bono Partner of the Year award from the Law Center to Prevent Gun Violence at its 20th anniversary dinner in San Francisco. The Law Center focuses on providing comprehensive legal expertise in support of gun violence prevention and the promotion of smart gun laws that save lives. The Law Center's Pro Bono Partners support its work through a variety of projects, including researching and analyzing the nation's gun laws, writing amicus briefs, representing public entities and testifying at hearings across the country.
