2013 Cornerstone Award

Lawyers Alliance for New York presented Kirkland with a 2013 Cornerstone Award, New York’s highest business law pro bono honor, at a ceremony in New York City. The Cornerstone Awards recognize outstanding pro bono legal services to nonprofit groups that improve the quality of life for low-income residents of New York. Kirkland attorneys have volunteered with Lawyers Alliance since 2003, providing pro bono legal assistance to 40 of the organization’s nonprofit clients. During the past year, Firm attorneys worked on 22 active matters through Lawyers Alliance, including 14 new legal projects.
