Alliance of Illinois Judges Award

The Alliance of Illinois Judges honored Kirkland & Ellis for its marriage equality pro bono work at its annual meeting on June 25, 2014, in Chicago. Litigation partners Emily Nicklin and Amy Crawford, intellectual property partner Jordan Heinz and litigation associate Kathryn Guilfoyle were also recognized individually. The Alliance of Illinois Judges, founded by LGBT judges in Cook County, aims to promote understanding and diversity within the judiciary and the legal community.
