Kirkland Advises Al Rayyan Tourism in Acquisition of The Manhattan at Times Square Hotel

Kirkland & Ellis LLP represented Al Rayyan Tourism and Investment (ARTIC), the international hospitality subsidiary of Al Faisal Holding Company, one of Qatar’s largest private diversified industry groups, in its acquisition of the The Manhattan at Times Square Hotel. The transaction was announced in December 2014 and closed on February 13, 2015. Built in 1962, The Manhattan at Times Square Hotel is located at the heart of Midtown and features 689 rooms and suites as well as commercial space. It covers an entire block at 790 Seventh Avenue.
