Kirkland Represents HGGC in Formation of $1.33 Billion Fund II

Kirkland & Ellis represented HGGC, a leading middle-market private equity investment firm, which last week announced that it completed fundraising for HGGC Fund II, L.P. with total capital commitments of approximately $1.33 billion.

The Kirkland team that represented HGGC is led by private funds partners Sarah Kirson and Justin Solomon, and includes private funds associates Sojeong Hong, Lily Rasel and Steve Yoo, tax partner Donald Rocap and associate Joel Peters-Fransen, investment management partners Scott Moehrke and Kevin Bettsteller, European regulatory partner Lisa Cawley and associate Prem Mohan, and employee benefits partner Laura Bader, of counsel LeighAnne Thompson and associate Jake Glazeski.
