Kirkland & Ellis Represents Midstates Petroleum in Liquidity Enhancing Transactions

Kirkland & Ellis LLP represents Midstates Petroleum Company, Inc. which announced today that it has completed a series of transactions intended to increase its liquidity, including a private offering of $625 million of Senior Secured Second Lien Notes and an exchange of existing unsecured senior notes for approximately $500 million of Third Lien Senior Secured Notes.
