Big Suits: Parker v. NL Industries, PPG Industries

Congratulations to the Kirkland team that successfully defended NL Industries in the first lead paint case to go to trial. Maryland residents Tyrone Parker and his wife claimed that lead paint chips he ingested as a toddler in the 1950s caused cognitive deficits and permanent damage to his central nervous system, leading to seizures and epilepsy.  The Baltimore jury returned a verdict for NL Industries Inc., and PPG Industries, Inc.
