Transatlantic Elite 2009

For the second year in a row, The Lawyer named Kirkland one of the "Sweet Sixteen" law firms in its "The Transatlantic Elite" supplement. The publication noted the Firm's work for clients such as Bain Capital, Calpine, Constellation Energy, Golden Gate Capital, KPS Capital Partners, Madison Dearborn Partners, Palamon Capital Partners, Sea Containers and Solutia.

To create its list, The Lawyer referenced data including law firm finances, lawyer headcounts and deals tables as well as interviews with partners, consultants and legal market watchers.
