Kirkland is dedicated to community service. The Firm's commitment to its pro bono program, as well as the strength of the Kirkland & Ellis Foundation, allow Kirkland attorneys and staff to regularly give back to the communities in which we live, work and play.

In 1982, the Kirkland & Ellis Foundation was founded for the purpose of providing financial support to not-for-profit, charitable and law-related organizations serving a wide range of communities, initiatives and people. While the Foundation's predominant focus is on groups that help improve legal services, it also seeks to partner with organizations committed to enhancing the quality of life through improved healthcare, educational opportunities, cultural awareness, emergency relief and humanitarian efforts, youth programs, public policy and community outreaches.
