Overview

Marc Browning is a founding partner of the Austin office of Kirkland & Ellis. Marc focuses his practice on leveraged buyouts of private and public companies, strategic mergers, acquisitions and joint ventures, and growth equity and PIPE investments. He has handled matters on behalf of many of the leading private equity firms in the country. Marc has been recognized as a leading private equity attorney by major legal publications, including in The Legal 500 U.S. for M&A: Mega Deals, in which clients described him as having a ‘tireless drive to the get the deal done,’ a ‘deep understanding of the goals and risks of every deal’ and ‘focuses on what really matters.

Marc is actively involved in a number of charitable organizations within Texas and the Bay Area.

Marc has acted as a guest lecturer at Stanford Law School.
