Overview

Michael is a partner in the Investment Funds Group of Kirkland & Ellis LLP’s Chicago office. Michael focuses his practice on the representation of financial services companies, particularly investment advisers to private investment funds and separate managed accounts (including private equity, real estate and credit funds). Michael counsels his clients on complex business transactions and regulatory issues, including investment vehicle formation, separate managed account arrangements, secondary fund transactions, purchases and sales of majority and minority interests in management companies, and compliance and disclosure obligations under U.S. securities laws and regulations.
