Steven Serajeddini is a partner in the Restructuring Practice Group based in New York.

Steven advises companies, ad hoc committees, private equity firms, and other investors with respect to public and private companies in financial distress, including liability management transactions, exchange transactions, amend and extend transactions, refinancings, out-of-court restructurings, and bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings. Steven has been involved in some of the largest and most complex liability management transactions and corporate restructurings of all time.

Steven has recognition for his work by numerous national and international publications. Chambers USA has annually recognized Steven as a leading lawyer, praised by sources as “very intelligent and highly technical lawyer,” “an intelligent legal mind,” “expertly guiding us through the restructuring process,” and “always thinking of strategy to move forward.” Steven has been recognized as a ‘Key Lawyer’ by the Legal 500 and as a ‘Notable Practitioner’ by IFLR1000. Steven is a frequent lecturer, speaker, and writer on restructuring-related topics. He has published articles in notable industry publications, including Journal of Corporate Renewal and Law360, among others. Steven also regularly serves as a guest lecturer,  moderator, and panelist on liability management, restructuring, and distressed investing at a number of schools and industry forums, including the University of Pennsylvania, Harvard University, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and INSOL.
