Overview

Jaime is a Strategy & Operations partner in the Investment Funds Practice Group in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Jaime is a Knowledge Management partner in the Investment Funds Practice Group with broad responsibility for delivery of the fund formation platform’s market-leading data, strategic insights and know-how. Her time is dedicated to innovative, project-based initiatives that highlight the Investment Funds Practice Group’s and the Firm’s commitment to best practices, innovation, training and development and delivering unparalleled shared resources and client service.

Jaime also has extensive investment management experience providing fund sponsors with regulatory advice with respect to the Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and the Investment Company Act of 1940. Jaime advised large financial services firms, particularly investment advisers and sponsors of mutual funds, private equity funds and other pooled investment vehicles, regarding ongoing regulatory and compliance issues and private offerings of securities. She has significant experience counseling registered open-and closed-end funds and their independent directors.
