This year’s virtual 1L Diversity Scholars Program will bring together the best and brightest diverse law students from around the country. The program will be held in two sessions on two days, with the kickoff on Friday, March 26 from 1:00–3:00 p.m. ET, and the second session on Thursday, April 8 from 5:00–7:30 p.m. ET.
Session one will focus on introducing you to Kirkland, our partners, our community and our clients.
Session two will concentrate on you; how you can find success in a large law firm, while enhancing your relationship building skills. This session will feature a professional development workshop geared toward the concerns of diverse law students, and will include advice and takeaways you can use to help you succeed in BigLaw. An interactive networking happy hour and entertainment with Kirkland attorneys, clients and other scholars will close the program.
