Commercial Finance Association’s Advocacy Conference

The Commercial Finance Association will hold its Advocacy Conference from September 14-15, 2011 at the Fairmont in Washington, D.C.  The conference will focus on the latest legislative, regulatory and legal issues affecting the asset-based lending and factoring industries, and give updates on critical public policy and regulatory issues from legislators and regulators. Topics will include "An Insider's View on How Washington Works," "Cross-Border Lending Cross-Roads," and "Leveraging the Independent Finance Company: Tapping Into the Private, Public (BDC) and Government (SBA) Market," among others.

Kirkland partner Jonathan Henes will participate on the panel discussion entitled "Today's Problems in Municipal Finance: Should Chapter 9 Be Extended to States?"
