The Wharton School will host its 16th Annual Restructuring and Distressed Investing Conference on Friday, February 21, 2020 at the Plaza Hotel in New York City. This year’s theme, “Creating Value in a Late Cycle Credit Environment”, offers a unique opportunity to hear from a distinguished gathering of keynote speakers and panelists in their discussion of the current economic climate and issues of debt, investing, and restructuring across the globe.
Several Kirkland partners will be participating in the conference. George Klidonas will lead a discussion about the current market dynamics affecting distressed hedge funds and participate as a panelist in the “Disruption: Economic Driver for Restructurings” panel led by AlixPartners. Jon Henes will participate in a conversation led by Centerview around the out-of-court restructuring of One Call Care Management and the implications for the broader restructuring market and Brad Weiland will be interviewing Howard Marks, Co-Founder of Oaktree Capital Management, in a keynote session.
