Damon Andrews is a partner in Kirkland’s Washington, D.C., office, where his practice focuses primarily on civil litigation at the trial and appellate levels in federal and state courts nationwide. He has represented clients in judicial and administrative proceedings, including class actions, across a broad array of subjects, including antitrust, commercial law, employment law, environmental law, ERISA, fraud, intellectual property, and securities law. Damon also has represented clients before multiple government regulators in investigations concerning anti-money laundering compliance and foreign asset control. Damon has experience in numerous industries, having represented clients in the consumer products, energy, financial services, manufacturing, medical device, pharmaceutical, sports, technology, and transportation industries.

Damon also is active in pro bono work and is a member of the Criminal Justice Act Appellate Panel for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. He has briefed numerous appeals and argued questions of constitutional law and statutory interpretation in cases involving issues of due process, federal criminal law, immigration law, and sentencing.
