Greg Bauer focuses his practice on commercial lending transactions, representing equity sponsors, borrowers, institutional investors, lenders and mezzanine funds in secured and unsecured lending transactions and debt placements. He has structured, negotiated, and documented financing transactions of various types, including senior, mezzanine, and subordinated debt placements; acquisition facilities; asset-based loans; venture capital financings; sponsor lines of credit and general working capital facilities. He also has negotiated debtor-in-possession and other bankruptcy-related financings, workouts, restructurings and secured party sale transactions.

Greg regularly advises private equity clients and other borrowers on all aspects of acquisition financing, recapitalizations, and portfolio restructuring transactions, including sponsors focused on distressed mergers and acquisitions, and turnarounds.

Greg is listed in the Chambers USA guide. He also is active in a variety of charitable organizations.
