Han Cui Borto is a litigation associate in the Chicago office. Han has experience in every phase of litigation representing both plaintiffs and defendants. She has served clients in the technology, steel, energy, insurance, and financial services industries. Han specializes in complex commercial disputes, including breach of contract, trade secret, non-compete, employment, and insurance coverage cases. In the insurance coverage area, she regularly counsels companies on substantive policy procurement and coverage issues for a variety of policies. As a fluent Chinese speaker, Han also has experience in handling cross-border litigation, bankruptcy, and government investigations for global companies doing business in the U.S. and China. Han maintains an active pro bono practice, including winning a Section 1983 jury trial as lead counsel. Han is a member of the firm’s Chicago Associates Committee.
