John Brinkerhoff is a litigation associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. His practice focuses on complex trial and appellate litigation.

Before joining Kirkland, John served as a law clerk to Judge Gregory G. Katsas on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit, Judge William H. Pryor Jr. on the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit, and Judge Diane S. Sykes on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
