Patrick Butler is an associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Before joining Kirkland, Patrick served as a law clerk to Judge James C. Dever III on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina and Judge Michael B. Brennan on the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. He is a graduate of Duke University School of Law, University College Dublin, and the University of Notre Dame.
