Zac Byer is a litigation associate in the Los Angeles office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He litigates complex commercial cases in federal and state courts across the country. Zac’s experience includes taking and defending depositions, preparing expert witnesses and C-suite executives for depositions and trials, drafting appellate briefs and dispositive motions, and preparing jury-testing exercises.       

Zac served as a law clerk to Judge Deborah L. Cook of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. He began his career at Kirkland in the Washington, D.C. office.
