Pilar Colomes Iess is a litigation associate in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Pilar's practice focuses on international law, international investment arbitration, international commercial arbitration, and Spanish litigation.

In Spain, Pilar has appeared and acted before Spanish trial, appellate and Supreme Court, running cases in all stages of the proceeding (preliminary, evidentiary trial, hearing, appellate, cassation, interim measures, enforcement and settlement, among others) in many different Spanish regions.
