Scott Delaney is a transactional associate in the Dallas office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Scott’s practice focuses on private equity investments and M&A transactions, with a particular focus on the energy sector. Scott’s transactional experience includes representing private equity sponsors, their portfolio companies and other public and private company clients in complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, private equity investments, and related general corporate counseling.
Prior to beginning his legal career, Scott worked for five years in the financing and accounting department of one of the nation’s largest oil and gas companies.
