Overview

Brad is an associate in the Government, Regulatory and Internal Investigations Practice Group in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Brad advises clients on complex cross-border transactions and international trade and national security matters, including reviews by the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) and the Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA), export controls (ITAR/EAR), economic sanctions, anti-corruption (FCPA), and anti-boycott regulations. Brad has significant experience negotiating complex national security agreements related to defense, energy, healthcare and technology sector transactions. His clients have included both domestic and international corporations as well as private equity firms and their portfolio companies. Prior to joining Kirkland, Brad served as a policy advisor in the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Investment Security working on CFIUS matters.
