Faris Elrabie is a partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, and is a founding member of the Firm's Los Angeles Investment Funds Group. His practice spans the entire private equity lifecycle and includes structuring, marketing, negotiating and closing complex investment funds internationally for sponsors ranging from the industry's most oversubscribed to those developing a track record and fundraising on a deal-by-deal basis.
Faris also routinely counsels sponsors on ordinary and extraordinary firm-wide and fund-specific liquidity, economic, governance, transactional and operational matters, including a variety of secondary transactions and fund restructurings, direct and co-investments, GP stakes and strategic transactions, succession planning, carry and fee plans, firm and fund-level borrowings, product development, sensitive investor relations matters and compliance.
In addition, he provides fund-level advice on mergers, acquisitions, dispositions, restructurings, financings and other portfolio company transactions.
