Christine Fauroux is a tax associate based in the London office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP. Christine advises on a wide range of UK and international matters including cross border private equity, M&A transactions, reorganisations, private fund structuring and the financing and acquisition of distressed debt portfolios.
Prior to joining Kirkland, Christine was an associate in Maples and Calder and worked both in their Irish and Hong Kong offices. She also worked at the European Commission and has experience in European state aid law.

The Carlyle Group on the closing of Carlyle International Energy Partners II, a $2.3 billion global energy fund backed by a diverse group of 140 leading global investors
Nordic Capital on the formation of Nordic Capital Fund X, a €6.1 billion buyout fund focused on investing in the sectors of healthcare, technology and payments, and financial services, as well as in industrial and business services
EQT on the sale of its Credit business to Bridgepoint
Oaktree Capital Management on the successful closing of three separately managed accounts formed for strategic institutional investors
Prior to joining Kirkland, Christine worked on the following matters, advising on:
the global restructuring of the pan-European banking arm of the Goldman Sachs group
the establishment of Bain Capital’s credit fund investment structure via Ireland
the establishment of a healthcare royalty fund for Sagard Healthcare Royalty Partners
the proposed migration of a French luxury group’s structure onshore
the sale of Clavis Insight, a leading eCommerce insight provider for product manufacturers to US Ascential plc, a FTSE 250 company
private client work in connection with the relocation to Ireland of a large Saudi family office
