Cassandra Fenton is a litigation associate in the Chicago office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. She has a broad range of experience in complex commercial disputes, including restructuring cases, financial services disputes, and shareholder litigation. She represents a diverse client base, including telecommunications, oil & gas, and private-equity.
Cassandra has been recognized as a member of the trial team named by The American Lawyer as “Litigators of the Week” for obtaining and preserving a settlement worth over $2.1 billion in a breach of contract dispute for one of the nation’s largest providers of telecommunication services.
Cassandra also maintains an active pro bono practice focused on inmate rights and police reform. She also serves as an attorney volunteer for the Lawyers in the Classroom program, focused on teaching elementary and middle school students about the U.S. Constitution, legal system, and law-related careers.
