Carmen F. Francella III is an associate in the Employment and Labor Practice Group in the Boston office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. Carmen primarily practices transactional labor and employment law by assisting clients on complex national and international corporate transactions. Carmen has experience counseling employers in connection with all aspects of employment issues, including employee discipline and termination, investigations, hiring and termination documentation, handbooks, and compliance and policy matters. Carmen counsels employers during highly sensitive and complex investigations, including those related to government enforcement, workplace compliance, and unlawful harassment. He investigates and resolves harassment, discrimination, retaliation, whistleblowing, misconduct, and wage and hour allegations. In his transactional and counseling practice, Carmen draws upon his extensive experience litigating labor and employment-related issues in U.S. federal and state courts, and before regulatory and administrative bodies.
