Yates French is a litigation partner and trial lawyer in Kirkland’s Chicago office. Yates represents companies as both Plaintiffs and Defendants in a broad range of commercial, fraud and restructuring disputes.
Most recently, Yates conducted an investigation into potential claims arising from the 2015 spinoff transaction of a publicly traded telecommunications company. Yates also successfully defended iHeart Communications in a $500 million contract dispute. In addition to his experience in civil matters, Yates has experience defending pro bono litigants in criminal actions and appeals.
