Yates French is a partner in Kirkland's Litigation Practice Group in Chicago. His practice includes derivative actions and related complex claims arising in both closely held and public companies, including fraud and breach of fiduciary duty. Yates has successfully represented development and construction companies from claims brought by joint venture partners, and has successfully represented plaintiffs in breach of contract and fraud claims. In addition to his experience in civil matters, Yates has experience defending pro bono litigants in criminal actions and appeals.
