Tanya Greene is a litigation partner in Kirkland's Los Angeles office and is a member of the Commercial Litigation Practice Group. Tanya has successfully represented high-profile clients and examined fact and expert witnesses at trial in federal and state courts; taken and defended depositions of key witnesses and experts; briefed and prepared arguments in connection with a variety of motions; and prepared key fact witnesses for trial. Tanya has experience in antitrust, securities fraud, toxic tort litigation, commercial contracts, appeals and bankruptcy matters. Recently, Tanya successfully second-chaired a trial where her client was being sued by a state regulator seeking more than $35 million in penalties.

Tanya has received several awards for her service to the legal profession. In July 2018, Tanya was named a recipient of the National Bar Association’s “40 Under 40 Nation’s Best Advocates” Award. The award recognizes the nation’s top lawyers under the age of 40 who exemplify a broad range of high achievement, including in innovation, vision, leadership, and legal and community involvement. In April 2018, she was named Alumni of the Year by the Black Law Student’s Association of UCLA School of Law. In January 2018, Tanya was recognized by the Los Angeles Business Journal as one of the “Most Influential Minority Attorneys” in the Los Angeles region. She has been recognized as one of Southern California's "Rising Stars" by Super Lawyers for the past four consecutive years (2015–2018). In July 2016, Tanya was selected by the National Diversity Council as one of the Top 50 Women Lawyers. Women selected for this prestigious honor have reached the top of their profession and are recognized for driving change, innovation and inspiring others to succeed. Tanya is a member of Kirkland’s Firmwide Diversity and Inclusion Committee.
