Christopher focuses his practice on leveraged acquisitions, recapitalizations, sale transactions, growth equity investments, take private acquisitions and other complex buyout and special situations transactions. He has been responsible for leading a wide variety of these transactions, ranging in size from a few million dollars to several billion dollars, for a number of private equity clients, including Oaktree Capital Management, GTCR, Clearlake Capital, CHS Capital, MTS Health Partners and Nautic Partners, as well as for a variety of their portfolio companies.
In February 2008, Christopher was one of 10 lawyers in the United States selected and profiled as a “Future Star of America” by The Times, a UK-based legal publication, after being nominated for the honor by Kirkland & Ellis’ Firm Management Committee. In addition, Christopher has been repeatedly recognized as a “leading lawyer” by Leading Lawyers Network for Mergers & Acquisitions Law, Corporate Finance Law and Securities & Venture Finance Law.
Christopher serves on the Firm’s Billing and Collections Committee, Firmwide Pro Bono Management Committee and Chicago Pro Bono Committee.
