Overview

Matthew Grosbard is an associate in the Investment Funds Group in the New York office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. He focuses his practice on advising private fund advisers on the structuring and formation of private investment funds, including private equity funds and private credit funds. In addition, Matthew advises sponsors on various regulatory, compliance and day-to-day operational matters.

Glendon Capital Management in the formation and operation of Glendon Opportunities Fund III, a $1.7 billion credit fund organized in 2024 that focuses on distressed credit and special situations opportunities.

KPS Capital Partners in the formation of KPS Special Situations Fund VI, an $8 billion fund.

Warburg Pincus in the formation of Warburg Pincus Global Growth 14, a $17.3 billion global fund.

Trivest Partners in its sale of a minority interests to Bonaccord Capital Partners.
