Rehan Hanif is a partner in the debt finance practice of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP in London.
Rehan has a broad range of banking and finance experience, with a focus on cross-border real estate finance transactions. He acts for lenders, arrangers, private equity sponsors and other real estate investors advising them on financing and restructuring of senior and mezzanine real estate debt. His experience includes advising on commercial investment property financings, development finance, hotel financing and loan-on-loan finance. Rehan also has experience of complex Islamic Finance structures having worked in the Middle East.

A debt fund as borrower of over €300 million of loan on loan facilities.
A debt fund as borrower for a €70m warehouse facility for loan on loan finance.
A debt fund as sponsor for a £90m investment facility to refinancing London real estate.
Deutsche Bank on the issuance of over €1.5bn of multi-loan CMBS notes.
The UK branch of a Middle East bank as Senior Lender on a £420m murabaha development facility for a London residential development project.
A Middle East lender on a £280m murabaha investment facility for a London real estate asset.
