Rachel Hansen is an antitrust associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP. She has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions with regulatory antitrust concerns, including merger litigation and trial. Rachel also works on competition litigation, internal investigations, and investigations in response to government inquiries, and analyzes complex antitrust issues as they arise in private party disputes.

Tronox Limited — Trial counsel for Tronox in antitrust proceedings brought by Federal Trade Commission related to Tronox's worldwide acquisition of Cristal. The procedural posture of this case was unprecedented — this was the very first "Part Three" administrative hearing of an unconsummated merger before the FTC's Office of Administrative Law Judges.
